Intan Jaya, IDNtribune – Happiness Doesn’t Always Have to be Expensive, a simple life philosophy that Tri Dharma fighters always teach towards the youth in Intan Jaya. Through simple things, the Task Force taught many lessons and philosophies on life to arouse Papuan children’s learning motivation to achieve their dreams.

The Tri Dharma Knights always have a way to make Intan Jaya children laugh brightly and happily. This time, they introduced the traditional game of kite flying to the children of Intan Jaya, on Saturday (13/1/24).

Sargeant Selamet Hidayat, NGO of the Mamba Post explained that the children were very enthusiastic during their first time flying kites.

“They were surprised how a piece of paper could fly. We explained briefly that this toy was made from bamboo and paper and then flown using thread,” he said.

Anius Sani and his two friends were extremely happy while flying kites, while talking with the two soldiers accompanying them.

330 Task Force Commander, Infantry Major Dedy Pungky Irawanto, S.I.P., M.I.Pol explained that through kites, the Task Force taught the children that in order to achieve success in life, we need to be able to go through processes.

“Humans don’t just grow and grow. There are many processes that must be gone through in order to have strong foundation to face the future. The strength and beauty of a kite does not suddenly appear without being made by its owner. Likewise, we must prepare ourselves as best as possible so that can achieve a bright future and realize your dreams,” he explained.
