Intan Jaya, IDNtribune – After heavy rain showered Sugapa for two days in a row from early morning to late afternoon, the sun shone brightly again on the land of Sugapa, Intan Jaya on Tuesday Morning (05/12/23). Papuan mothers were seen walking while carrying noken towards the center of Sugapa to sell produce from their gardens.

Yes, Tuesday is market day. The Tri Dharma knights at the 330 Task Force’s Koper Post were seen, who from the start had been waiting for the Papuan mothers who were going to sell their produce, rushing to welcome and direct the Papuan mothers to enter the Koper Post yard.

“Come on, Mama, we’ve got all the merchandise, we’ll buy it all later,” said Specialist Marsanto.

Mama Juliana, who was in the front row, immediately gave orders to the mothers behind her to enter the post and spread out their merchandise. In an instant, all the mothers’ produce was sold out. They were smiling happily.

The Wholesale Agricultural Products (BOHAI) is the 330 Task Force’s flagship program which is held regularly and is very effective in helping to move the wheels of the economy in Intan Jaya.

“We hope BOHAI will always be there. So we don’t have to travel all the way to the city to sell. We are all happy, that our produce is sold out” concluded Mama Juliana.
