Intan Jaya, IDNtribune – After returning from school, a group of Papuan children were seen running towards the Kotis Post in the Mamba village of the Intan Jaya Regency, Central Papua Province. That afternoon, the Tri Dharma personnel invited the children to harvest water spinach at the Kotis Post Garden, on Tuesday (16/1/24).

Private Putra and Private Chan, who were waiting for the children’s arrival, suddenly screamed when they saw a group of Papuan children running towards them.

“Ooiiii, boys, come here quickly, let’s harvest water spinach, it’s going to rain soon,” shouted the two of them in unison.

The two young soldiers rushed into small talk with a group of Papuan children while inviting the children to walk towards the water spinach garden which was about to be harvested. And in an instant they were immersed in a moment of togetherness and joy in harvesting the water spinach plants in the garden in the post yard.

Post Commander, Infantry First Lieutenant Bayu Bhakti explained that every time harvest time arrives, the 330 Task Force always invites the community or children to participate in the harvest and distribute the yield to the community for free.

“Apart from being used for personal consumption, the vegetable harvest is distributed free of charge to residents,” he said.

This is some of the moments of joy and togetherness of the Tri Dharma Knights and children in Intan Jaya. From the Land of Papua, For the Papuan People, Kostrad Spreads Peace, KOTEKA!!!
