NDUGA, IDNtribune – After starting constructing in mid-December last month, the 411/Pandawa Task Force together with the Karunia Merah Putih Foundation’s church building program for Papua which linked up by Colonel Inf. Yanerdi Mulyadi built two churches in their area of duty in the Nduga Regency, Papua Highlands Province

With uncertain security conditions due to high levels of vulnerability, the 411/Pandawa Task Force continues their commitment in completing the church construction process on time and will be further accelerated, both in Keneyam City and Batas Batu.

From monitoring results of the Task Force on January 5 2024, the construction has progressed far. With the foundation completed, the materials arriving from Jakarta did not take long to immediately proceed to the next stage of construction.

Commander of the 411/Pandawa Task Force, Infantery Lt. Col. Subandi, S.E., M.I.P., stated that the process of building two church buildings in the Kenyam Regency area had entered fairly good progress, faced with an uncertain security situation and weather, but everything was running smoothly.

“The construction of the church in Kenyam has included the installation of materials that have been sent from Jakarta, while for the one in Batas Batu the foundation is in the stage of completion, because it is built on swamp land,” explained the 2004 Military Academy Graduate.

By continuing to pay attention to security factors and synergizing with security forces from both the 1706/Nduga Military District and the Mandala Task Force, this construction work will continue to be accelerated as a Christmas gift for the people of Kenyam.
