Intan Jaya, IDNtribune – The intergenerational proverb that we often hear is “Paper plane.” This proverb teaches us about the meaning of courage, dreams and how to face challenges in life. Paper airplanes are a symbol of the desire to achieve dreams and aspirations. Personnel of the 330 Task Force uses this proverb as an entry point to motivate children in Bazemba Village, Intan Jaya Regency, Central Papua Province to achieve their goals, on Saturday (09/12/23).

Task Force Commander Infantery Major Dedy Pungky Irawanto, S.I.P., M.I.Pol illustrated that when a child folds a piece of paper into a plane, he radiates hope and desire to soar freely in space.

“By playing with paper airplanes, we teach children that dreams and imagination are the keys to achieving things that seem impossible. Paper airplanes teach us to have unlimited imagination, and to not be afraid to develop our dreams with courage ,” he explained.

Furthermore, this 2005 Military Academy Graduate explained that paper airplanes remind us that it is not easy to achieve our dreams. In the process of folding a paper airplane, we have to learn the correct patterns and techniques so that the airplane flies well.

“The process of folding paper into a plane teaches us that to achieve our dreams, we need to develop the necessary skills, knowledge and courage,” he concluded.

Paper airplanes warn us that without proper preparation and effort, our dreams will just be fragments of hope floating aimlessly.

Dear children of Intan Jaya, keep up the enthusiasm to achieve your goals. Indonesia is waiting for you.
