Intan Jaya, IDNtribune.com – December has arrived. The 330 Task Force and the locals of Intan Jaya have a unique way to welcome the month. December is known as the month full of love and peace. Especially for a region where majority of the population are of Christian Faith.

After praying and eating together, the Tri Dharma Knights together with the Becek village people, raised a giant red and white flag, located in front of the 330 Task Force Bilogai Post, on Friday (1/12/23).

Infantery First Lieutenant Zaenal, Bilogai Post Commander, said that the community was very enthusiastic about participating in this activity. Previously, we started with an initial meeting discussing plans for activities that would be implemented at Christmas this year.

“After discussing plans for Christmas, we continued by unfurling a giant red and white flag measuring 100 x 7 meters,” he explained.

Separately, Task Force Commander, Infantery Major Dedy Pungky Irawanto, S.I.P., M.I.Pol explained that raising the giant red and white flag holds a special meaning.

“This is a symbol that the diversity that exists in Intan Jaya remains within the Republic of Indonesia. As a form of religious tolerance, individual of different religions belief other than Christians are ready to help our brothers of christian faith make preparations for Christmas this year,” he explained.

Furthermore, “Sonobi Sejuria” explained that the Task Force and the Intan Jaya Community were committed to jointly making December a month full of love and peace.

“The time has come to give your best and receive it sincerely because true happiness comes from a loving heart,” emphasized the 2005 Military Academy Graduate.
