Indonesia Pest Academy is an annual international event that is routinely held by DPP ASPHAMI to meet the information needs regarding the development of the Pest Control industry in Indonesia.

The first Indonesia Pest Academy was held in Jakarta was in 2017 in Jakarta, then 2019 in Banten and this time in Bali.

Indonesia Pest Academy is a forum for interaction and meetings between business people and other stakeholders in the process of exchanging the latest technological innovations in the pest control industry.

The Indonesia Pest Academy 2023 chose the theme “Post Pandemic Pest Control Challenges & Opportunities” to support the management of the pest control industry in Indonesia to be better, healthier and professional.

“Indonesia Pest Academy is also present as an answer to public and government anxiety over pest control and disease-transmitting vectors in the post-pandemic era,” continued Head of the 3rd Indonesia Pest Academy 2023 Committee H. Public Facilities in Indonesia Have Not Implemented Pest Control

At the same time, the Chairperson of the 3rd Indonesia Pest Academy 2023 Committee hopes that with the theme “Post Pandemic Pest Control Challenges & Opportunities” he will be raised to believe that pest control will continue to be used.

We all know that not all public facilities in Indonesia implement pest control.

“For example, in Singapore, facilities are generally required to use pest control, but not all in Indonesia. But we at the Association will certainly continue to provide understanding and knowledge of the importance of pest control,” continued H. Achmad.

Along with the development of pest control technology, now it has gone green or environmentally friendly where the raw materials for pest control no longer use hazardous chemicals or chemicals.

Indonesia Pest Academy 2023 was opened by the Minister of Tourism and Productive Economy Sandiaga Uno.

Meanwhile, being questioned on the sidelines of the event, Gunadi Karjono, Director of PT Vadel Ksatria Samudra Indonesia, who is concerned with environmental health infrastructure, said that the Indonesia Pest Academy is very important for those working in this field.

According to him, this activity provides many opportunities for fellow ASPHAMI members to be able to collaborate in developing the pest control industry in Indonesia. He also hopes that public facilities, companies as well as government and private buildings can implement pest control as a whole.

Eric Cao, from GongCheng Bio-Tech Ltd, China also has the same opinion. According to him, Indonesia Pest Academy is a professional platform that provides updates and exchange of ideas for the pest control industry. Iven also promotes the development of the pest control industry in Indonesia

“Our company, GongCheng Bio-Tech Ltd. China will enter the Indonesian market to become a partner in the public health market in Indonesia with professional, environmentally friendly products with managed solutions,” he concluded. ***
