Intan Jaya, IDNtribune – This year’s National Mother’s will be one to be remembered by the Papuan mothers who live in Intan Jaya. Right on market day, personnel from the 330 Tri Dharma Task Force suddenly came to the crowd of thousands of people who were gathering and trading in the Yokatapa field located in the Sugapa District of the Intan Jaya Regency in the Central Papua Province, on Friday (22/12/23).

Task Force Commander Infantery Major Dedy Pungky Irawanto, S.I.P., M.I.Pol, often referred as “Sonobi Sejuria” explained that Mother’s Day was close to Christmas. Because of this, this moment was used by the Tri Dharma Knights to give special gifts specifically for the Papuan Mothers.

“Right on this blessed Friday, the Task Force distributed 1000 Purple Coloured Batik dresses as special gifts for Papuan mothers to celebrate Mother’s Day and welcome the 2023 Christmas celebration, I hope you like it,” he explained bluntly.

The mothers looked very enthusiastic and passionate about getting beautiful, brightly colored dresses with beautiful patterns.

“Calm down, don’t fight, everyone will get it later,” shouted Specialist Marsanto, who seemed overwhelmed by the invasion of the Papuan mothers around him.

Mama Aliana, one of the residents who attended the activity, was happy and surprised by the presence of the task force men.

“We were all surprised, Santa Claus came to give out gifts. I also just found out that today is Mother’s Day. Thank you, may God bless and protect you, Amakanie,” he said.
