Intan Jaya, IDNtribune.com – 330/Tri Dharma Raider Infantery Batalyon Task Force holds a strong commitment to participate in the success of the government’s program to resolve cases of children at risk of stunting by providing assistance in form of Nutrition Packages to the community, located at Post J2, Bilogai Village, Intan Jaya Regency, Central Papua Province on Friday (13/10/23).

Commander of the 330/Tri Dharma Tadk Force, Infantery Major Dedy Pungky Irawanto, S.I.P., M.I.Pol. said that the 330 Task Force had distributed 100 Nutrition Packages to the community in Intan Jaya Regency.

“Thanks to the support from the Army Chief of Staff and Strategic Reserve (Kostrad) Commander, the task force has distributed 100 Nutrition Packages containing Chil-School Milk, Indomie, Eggs, Porridge and Baby Biscuits to accelerate stunting reduction in Intan Jaya.” he said.

Mr. I Nengah Kariasa, Assistant for Government Affairs of the District Secretary of Intan Jaya, who was also present at the activity, expressed his gratitude for the assistance provided by the Task Force.

“We express our respect, gratitude and more importantly, we are very proud of the presence of 330 Task Force who really cares about the people of Intan Jaya. “Moreover, the stunting problem is a national program and the armed forces has played an important role in it,” he explained.

Furthermore, the commander stated that according to orders given by the army chief of staff, Indonesian Army Officials should become foster fathers for stunted children.

“The Army Chief of Staff has been confirmed as the foster father of stunting, meaning that the army is automatically involved by the government in accelerating the handling of stunting. This is the responsibility of all of us because children are the future of the nation,” he stressed. ***
