This morning, the Head of Region VII Higher Education Service Institute, Prof. Dr. Dyah Sawitri, SE., MM. His arrival brought good news, as he brought with him a decree for the lifting of administrative sanctions on the campus which had been in effect since 2022.

The lifting of this sanction ensures that Unmerbaya can again accept new students, hold graduations and other academic activities.

Located on the Unmerbaya Campus Jl. Ketintang Madya VII No 02 Kelurahan Karah, Jambangan, Surabaya, Head of LLT Region VII Surabaya, Prof. Syafitri read directly the decision to lift the sanctions.

Unmerbaya Rector Dr. Mohammad Roesli, SH., M.Hum stated his gratitude for the lifting of this administrative sanction.

“For the case that is the background of the Dikti sanction, we have conducted a full evaluation. We have also given sanctions to lecturers who are involved in cases that have an impact on the higher education administration sanctions. This will be a lesson for Unmerbaya management in the future, so that cases like this will never happen again,” said Chancellor Roesli.

Also present at the meeting, Commander of the 0832 South Surabaya Military District, Colonel Akhmad Juni Toa, SE., M,.Pol. Whom is representing 083 Baladhika Jaya Military Resort Commander Colonel Muhammad Imam Gogor.

“Currently, we are completing the minutes regarding the audit with a special purpose or ADTT by Brawijaya Military District Inspector and the team as Foundation Supervisors to the Chairperson of the Unmerbaya Foundation,” said Colonel Juni.

He also conveyed that the results of the ADTT minutes would be reported in writing to the Commander of the Brawijaya Military District Maj. Gen. Farid Makruf to get further directions for the future development of Unmberbaya.

It is ensured that after the lifting of this sanction, Universitas Merdeka Surabaya will be able to carry out the admission of new students, graduation and graduation as well as other academic activities. ***
