330 Task Force Provides Trauma Healing to Residents Post Seperatist Attacks
Intan Jaya, IDNtribune – Personnel of the 330 Tri Dharma Task Force carried out trauma healing for the people of Intan Jaya in order to restore their psychological state, eliminate fear and restore people’s self-confidence after a series of attacks carried out by the Papuan Separatists (KSTP). The trauma healing is carried out in the Mamba Post, Sugapa District, Intan Jaya District, Central Papua Province on Sunday (28/1/24).
330 Task Force Commander, Infantry Major Dedy Pungky Irawanto, S.I.P., M.I.Pol said that trauma healing will continue to be carried out so that self-confidence of the community and children can recover quickly so they can return to their normal activities.
“The public and children do not need to feel afraid, because the 330 Task Force and other law enforcement units are committed to continuing to be present in protect and provide security. Please carry out activities as usual and for children to continue going to school with enthusiasm to gain as much knowledge as possible in large numbers so that in the Land of Papua may further progress in the upcoming future,” he said.
Trauma healing is important, apart from getting rid of prolonged grief and sadness, it is also to regenerate enthusiasm for living a better life.
“We all hope that security conduciveness in Intan Jaya continues to improve so that it can restore the mentality and enthusiasm for life of its people and eliminate the fear caused by the seperatists. We believe that in every disaster there is a lesson and various problems can be overcome if there is hope, support and attention from all of us,” added Task Force Commander.
