The Grand Harvest of African Monsters in Mamba Waters by the 330 Task Force Puts a Smile on Intan Jaya Residents.
Intan Jaya – The Tri Dharma Personnel invites residents of Intan Jaya to carry out a big harvest of catfish cultivated in the Task Force’s Mamba Post Pond in the Sugapa District, Intan Jaya Regency, Central Papua Province on Thursday (18/1/24).
Infantry First Lieutenant Rudi Hendrawan, Logistics Officer of the Task Force explained that the 3300 Task Force invited Intan Jaya residents to witness the catfish harvest done at the Mamba Post.
“We distribute the catfish from the harvest to the community around the post. For superior quality catfish broodstock which includes offspring that are still small in size, we separate them for the next harvest,” he explained.
Mr. Ezekiel, Head of Soambili Village, who was also present at the catfish harvest activity, expressed his joy.
“Thank you Sonobi Sejuria (Task Force Commander) and the 330 Task Force who are always kind to us Intan Jaya residents. Today Sonobi gave us a big catfish. Amakaniee,” he said with a smile.
Not only adults, children who also attended and were involved in the activities were very enthusiastic about seeing the harvest process of African monsters in Mamba waters.
“Uncle, give me one more catfish to keep as pet,” shouted Oten Sani as he handed the black plastic he was carrying.
The existence of the African Monsters in Mamba waters cultivated by the Tri Dharma Knights has become a sensation and attraction for the residents of Intan Jaya. Cultivating catfish is one form of the Task Force’s efforts to achieve food security to help the District government of Intan Jaya in improving the welfare of the people.
