Intan Jaya, IDNtribune – 330/Tri Dharma Raider Infantery Batalyon Task Force, in collaboration with the Intan Jaya Police, destroyed 56 bottles of alcohol at the Intan Jaya Police Headquarters in the Central Papua Province on Thursday (07/12/2023).

Commander of the 330 Tri Dharma Tasl Force, Infantery Major Dedy Pungky Irawanto, S.I.P., M.I.Pol who was present at the destruction of liquor said that the 56 bottles of Vodka were the result of a sweeping operation carried out by the personnel of the Task Force at the Bilogai Post.

“The eradication of liquor is a form of joint commitment from all Armed Forces and the Police forces to reduce the circulation of liquor in Intan Jaya Regency,” he explained.

Mr. Philipus, one of the tribal chiefs who also attended the activity, expressed his appreciation.

“There have been many examples of incidents that have occurred because people lost their minds due to the influence of alcohol. Thank you to the army and the police for enforcing these rules in Intan Jaya,” he stressed.

Furthermore, the commander emphasized that the destruction of evidence was carried out to minimize the circulation of illegal alcohol in the community as well as to create a conducive situation and conditions ahead of the celebration of Christmas and the New Year in the Intan Jaya Regency.
