Timika, IDNtribune – The enthusiasm of the personnel from the 330 Tri Dharma Infantery Batalyon Task Force in scoring achievements continues wherever, whenever and in any event. This time, Nurdin Lahaya succeeded in scoring an achievement. This Tri Dharma Knight with the rank of Specialist (Praka) successfully won third place in the “Porkab Mimika Duathlon 2023” Class C/MTB Bicycle Category which was held in Timika, on Sunday (03/12/23).

Specialist Nurdin Lahaya, one of the personnel representing the 330/TD Task Force in Timika, succeeded in becoming the third fastest person to touch the finish line after covering a distance of 27.5 km by running 5 km, cycling (MTB) 20 km and continuing with 2 runs, 5 Km.

Task Force Commander, Infantery Major Dedy Pungky Irawanto, S.I.P., M.I.Pol feels proud and appreciates the achievements that have been achieved. “Thank God, this is proof of the results of continuous unit development. In the midst of his busy duties as a representative member of the Task Force, Specialist Nurdin managed to remain disciplined in developing himself,” he said.

Specialist Nurdin Lahaya feels proud because he was able to make his unit proud at the 2023 Porkab Mimika Duathlon event which was held in Timika. “Thank you for the opportunity, prayers and support given by the commander and all colleagues,” he said.

Furthermore, Task Force said that the achievements achieved by Specialist Nurdin Lahaya prove that although hes at an older age, he is still competitive and able to compete with other participants who are younger, such as Private First Class Irsan (1st place) and Private Second Class Supratma (2nd place ) who were personnel from the 754 Infantery Batalyon. “Hopefully this success will encourage our men to continue achieving achievements. Quality is a habit, consistency is the key,” he concluded.
