NDUGA, IDNtribune – Good things kept coming. As happiness was filled into the community through the 411/Pandawa Infantery Batalyon led by Bang Alex. As they continue to in their area of duty in Nduga Regency.

Not wanting to be outdone by the Kotis Post which held “Ngopi Santuy” with the Keneyam community a few days ago, now it time for the Batas Batu Post to hold “Ngopi Santuy” with the people of Batas Batu, Nduga Regency, Papua Highlands Province. Tuesday, (21/11/2023).

Commander of the 411/Pandawa Infantery Batalyon Infantery Lt. Colonel Subandi explained that the bond between the Pandawa troops and the people of Batas Batu was extraordinary, they had always worked together to build the synergy between the community and the Armed Forces.

He continued, today they were “Drinking Santuy Coffee” in front of the Batu Batas Post, telling stories, exchanging opinions with each other, there was no distance between them. It is hoped that our presence will have a positive impact on society.

“Never stop doing good. By doing good to society, it will definitely be easier to carry out our duties. “Invite the community to continue to be positive, listen to their voices so we can find solutions,” said the Commander.

The bond of the community to the Pandawa Troops is grew stronger with frequent communication, joint activities in building villages and harmonious relations between the community and the armed forces are becoming more solid.

The Commander of the Batas Batu Kout Post, Infantery Second Lieutenant Ari Wibowo, explained that “Ngopi Santuy” aims to listen to the community’s complaints and help overcome the difficulties of local people, especially ahead of the Christmas celebrations next month.

“Through this “Ngopi Santuy” activity, we hope that people will share their complaints with us, especially before Christmas, we will try to do whatever we can to help optimally to help the community,” explained post commander

The cafe-style “Coffee Santuy” which was held in front of the Batu Border Post was busy with people visiting, young and old, all came as one to enjoy hot coffee with the Pandawa Troops.

The atmosphere in the afternoon felt special, it was the first time that people had gathered together, telling stories together and enjoying the evening sky accompanied by ‘sipping’ a glass of coffee. The people seemed happy to enjoy the afternoon.

Primus Firkom, one of the residents who attended the “Ngopi Santuy” event, expressed his gratitude to the Pandawa Task Force which always provides new nuances in uniting the community with the Armed Forces.

“This is truly extraordinary, the army men are now determined to always share with the community, help the community and today we had coffee with the army men from the Batu Batas Post, we are all happy, we are all happy,” said Mr Primus.
