Intan Jaya, IDNtribune – In order to welcome Christmas this December, the 330 Task Force inspected the condition and readiness of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Tanah Putih, Intan Jaya regency, Central Papua Province on Thursday (09/11/2023).

Task Force Territorial Officer, Infantery First Lieutenant Ronal explained that during this activity, 330 Task Force carried out an initial check on the condition and readiness of the church before preperations for the Christmas celebration in December can be done.

“Welcoming the arrival of the holy and peaceful month in December, we, Task Force 330, are checking the condition of the church to prepare for the Christmas celebration,” he explained.

During this activity, the Tri Dharma Knights also provided assistance with a number of food packages, Bibles and solar cell lamps for residents and church congregations around the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Tanah Putih.

The presence of the Tri Dharma Knights was welcomed warmly by the community. The atmosphere full of happiness and kinship was clearly visible, showing the close relationship that existed between 330 Task Force and the community in the assigned area.

330 Task Force Commander, Infantery Major Dedy Pungky Irawanto, S.I.P., M.I.Pol said that 330 Task Force inspect the readiness of the churches in Intan Jaya in order to welcome Christmas this December.

“The Task Force will try to help improve church infrastructure that is inadequate, so that our Christian brothers and sisters in Intan Jaya can celebrate Christmas safely, comfortably and peacefully,” he said.
