Papua, IDNtribune – Infantery Colonel Yanerdi Mulyadi, I have known him since he served as The Commander of the 303/SMS Batalyon. A Batalyon far from the capital city, where the air is cold, and potatoes are cultivated.

Recently we met again accidentally on Facebook, when we often post news surrounding Wamena. Finally we greeted each other and told each other stories.

Turns out that he was the Cendrawasih Military Command Chief of Staf’s Territorial Assistant at the time. Among many of his activities, as a devout Muslim, he became a channel of blessing for the Papuan people. Who are predominantly Christian.

He didn’t do this alone. According to our observations, all church materials are sent from Semarang, to Jayapura and then to their respective destinations. My brother is extraordinary, he has helped build churches, maybe there are already 10 church units in Papua, without many people knowing.

My prayer is that he will become a general soon, where his work can further become a blessing to a wider range of people so that Indonesia will become more solid and united.

Currently he is sending 2 knowdown church units to Ngenyam Nduga with the estimate that by Christmas time in 2023, the church can be used for Christmas celebrations. Currently the task force on duty is the 411 Batalyon under the command of Bang Alex. Hopefully everything goes well.

The following is a message from one of the churches which will be celebrated on November 12 2023, as follows;

“We have finished building and will start worship this week, sir.

Thank you very much for your extraordinary attention and support and encouragement so that we couldn’t stay silent any longer and had to finish it. Because the people really need to immediately worship in this church building.

We are also grateful because this building is 3 meters longer than the two we previously received and built. This is suitable for the needs of the congregation in Central Koya.
Once again, thank you very much sir for your extraordinary help.
