30 Task Force’s BOHAI Program continues to strengthen the bonds between personnel and locals.
Intan Jaya, IDNtribune – To end the month of October, the 330 Task Force again held their flagship program, BOHAI (Agriculture Harvest Produce) at Mamba Post, Sugapa, Intan Jaya Regency, Central Papua on Tuesday (31/10/23).
Commander Infantery Major Dedy Pungky Irawanto, S.I.P., M.I.Pol., said that throughout October, the 330 Task Force carried out many programs to commemorate historical events, starting from Kesaktian Pancasila Day, Indonesian Armed Forces’ Anniversary, Infantry Day and Sumpah Pemuda.
“The activities carried out this time served as a sweet ending to October. Moreover, the BOHAI program remains a favorite of the people of Intan Jaya,” he said.
Knowing that the Task Force was holding the BOHAI program, Papuan mothers who were originally going to the market to trade, suddenly changed their destination and quickly rushed towards the Mamba Post.
“I was surprised today to hear that there was BOHAI. I thought there would be a schedule for Friday. As soon as I heard the news, I quickly went to the Mamba Post,” concluded Mama Once, while unloading a number of vegetables from the Noken bag she was carrying.
Furthermore, Mama Once emphasized that the people of Intan Jaya preferred selling vegetables to Task Force Post rather than trading at the market on the grounds that the distance was closer and the merchandise ran out more quickly because everything was bought up without bargaining.
“They always buys and gives me vegetables without bargaining. May God bless the 330 Task Force so that BOHAI will always be there, amakanie,” he concluded.
