Intan Jaya, IDNtribune.com – To Welcome the Upcoming 78th anniversary of the Indonesian Armed Forces, personnel from the 330/Tri Dharma Raider Infantery Batalyon collaborated with members of the 2005 Military Academy Alumni Association to organize a form of community service by distributing sports equipment and food packages to residents, located at the Holomama Post, Intan Jaya, Central Papua Province, on Tuesday (03/10/23).

The series of activities for the upcoming Anniversary began with a mass prayer, followed by distributing of sports equipment and basic food packages. Infantery Major Dedy Pungky Irawanto, S.I.P., M.I.Pol, as the 330 Task Force Commander said that this activity was carried out with assistance and support from the 2005 Military Academy Alumni Association.

“Thanks to the support from our colleagues from the 2005 Military Academy Alumni Association, in order to welcome the 78th anniversary of the armed forces, today we are distributing sports equipment in the form of volleyball balls, nets and basic food packages for residents as an effort to exercise the community as well as promote sports, especially in Intan Jaya, ” he said.

Mr. Yakobus Sondegau, a community leader in Yokatapa village, expressed his gratitude for the assistance with sports facilities and basic necessities from the 330 Task Force and the 2005 Military Academy Alumni Association.

“Last month, they helped us with football and takraw. Praise God, today we got help again. The children in the village will definitely be happy, may God bless the task force, thank you,” he said while smiling happily. ***
