The people, most of whom come from Kampung Omeo and Tanah Becek (Kota Baru), walked 3 to 4 hours on foot to reach the nearest center of civilization in Sugapa District, Intan Jaya Regency. “Tell your friends to stop at this post if you’re tired” he continued. In an instant, while enjoying the food, the soldiers and a group of residents dissolved in a family-like atmosphere.

The presence of 330 Raider Infantery soldiers at the Bilogai post did brought a new atmosphere. So pedestrians can stop by to just unwind,” said Mission commander, Major Dedy Pungky.

Nobertus Mbuligau, the Pastor of the Tanah Becek village, expressed his gratitude, “thank you for giving a place for me and my friends to stop, eat and read stories. May God bless you soldiers from 330”, he said while saying goodbye to proceed the journey.
