This phenomenon shows how much fans love the Knight in Armor “Iron Man.”

News of the appearance of “Iron Man” in the Intan Jaya regency, Central Papua Province on Friday (20/10/23) made the fans’ longing for “Iron Man” a little quenched. The difference is, the Iron Man figure who appeared in Intan Jaya no longer wears armor equipped with modern defense equipment. What is meant by “Iron Man” is Private First Class Hironimus Sermatan, a figure nicknamed “Om Iron”, who is a member of 330 Task Force who became Intan Jaya children’s favorite barber.

Armed with an electric shaver, this “Iron Man” is capable of shaving 8 to 10 people every day. Old, young and even children has always look for this figure who is often refered as “om Iron” every time they come to the Mamba Post to have a haircut.

Commander of the Mamba Post, Infantery Lieutenant Bayu explained that the moment of closeness between Private First Class Hironimus and the residents in Intan Jaya was an illustration of one of the many moments of the close emotional bond that exists between the Task Force and the community.

“Various positive activities continue to be consistently carried out in order to provide the best service in the area of duty,” he said.

Jacky Sani, one of the children who is a regular, said that they were happy to have their hair cut by Mr Iron.

“Mr Iron is an expert at barbering. My friends and I are all happy because Uncle Iron is kind and funny,” he said. ***
