Surabaya, IDNtribune.com – Azrul Ananda, the President of the Football Association of Surabaya (Persebaya), met up with Major General Farid Makruf, the Commander of the Brawijaya Military Region (Panglima Komando Daerah Militer V/Brawijaya). The meeting took place on Wednesday, June 14 2023 as Ananda invited Maj. General Farid who was also known to be the father of Bonek to watch the friendly match between Persebaya and Persija Jakarta.

The match is titled the 96th Anniversary Game and will be held at the Bung Tomo Stadium (GBT), Surabaya, East Java, on Sunday, 18 June 2023. The Regional Military Commander promised to fulfill the invitation and requested that the match take place in a safe and peaceful atmosphere.
