Intan Jaya, IDNtribune – Every day, the weather in Intan Jaya is unpredictable and difficult to predict. The blue morning sky in Sugapa City with the hot sun on the skin makes everyone think that it will be a sunny day. However, a few moments later, the sky will soon be suddenly covered with thick black clouds and not long after, followed by a heavy rainfall.

The extreme changes of weather in Intan Jaya sometimes affect aircraft flight operations and the activities locals. In fact, not infrequently, often when they return from their routine in the city to their village they may have to walk through the rain because they didn’t bring an umbrella.

Seeing this phenomenon, the 330 Task Force at Bilogai Post took the initiative to distribute umbrellas to residents passing in front of the post, on Tuesday (07/11/2023).

Commander of the Bilogai post, Infantery First Lieutenant Zaenal Muqorib, explained that this was done by the 330 Task Force to care for the residents of Intan Jaya.

“This umbrella is a form of the 330 Task Force’s concern for the residents of Intan Jaya. The umbrellas given by the Task Force cannot stop the rain, but at least they can help the residents of Intan Jaya through the rain to reach their destination,” he concluded.

“Thank you to the Task Force for sharing umbrellas for us. May God always bless and protect the Task Force,” said Mama Monika Mbuligau, one of the residents who received the umbrella.
