Tri Dharma Batalyon Personnel Taught Modern Planting to Local Residents
Intan Jaya, IDNtribune.com – Personnel from the 330/Tri Dharma Raider Infantery Batalyon Task Force Introduced modern farming methodsand the concept of land management towards the residents of Bilogai Village in the Bilogai post, on Saturday (07/22/23).
Under the rising sun, dozens of residents were seen enthusiastically listening to an explanation from Kang Enal, the nickname given to First Lieutenant Zaenal Muqorib, Commander of the Bilogai Post by the local people.
In his official statement, Kang Enal as the Bilogai commander post said that this activity was carried out to help residents acheive better harvest. “Initially, when residents came to the post to ask for seeds, they saw that the growth and development of the plants at the post were better than what they had planted. Then they asked to be taught how to grow crops better” he explained.
In addition to providing assistance with a number of plant seeds and plastic, the Tri Dharma Knights at the Bilogai Post taught residents how to cultivate their land, sow seeds, fertilize and deal with pest disturbances.
Nobertus Mbuligau, as the Pastor in Bilogai, expressed his gratitude for what the Tri Dharma soldiers had done. “Thank you, to all 330 personnel, who is always there to help residents in Intan Jaya,” he said. “Praise be to God, these soldiers are very generous. They gave us seeds and then taught the community how to garden”, joked Mama Naomi added.
“Hopefully the farming tips that we introduce can help Intan Jaya residents to yield better harvest,” concluded the post commander. ***
