Intan Jaya, IDNtribune – That Monday morning (30/10/23), when the sun began to rise in the blue sky of Intan Jaya. A different atmosphere was seen at the field of Sugapa 1 Public High School, Intan Jaya, Central Papua. Teachers and students mingled with soldiers from the 330 Task Force while solemnly participating in the 95th Sumpah Pemuda Day ceremony.

Commander of the 330 Task Force, Infantery Major Dedy Pungky Irawanto, S.I.P., M.I.Pol. explained that at the 95th Sumpah Pemuda Day had the theme “Together Advancing Indonesia”, The Task Force tried to remind the youth of Intan Jaya about the spirit of struggle of the youth on October 28, 1928 who united to pledge the Sumpah Pemuda.

“This is an effort to raise the enthusiasm and role of today’s young generation. Youth in all corners of Indonesia, including in Intan Jaya, have the same role in advancing Indonesia,” explained the commander.

Furthermore, after the ceremony activities were completed, the Task Force provided assistance in the form of sports equipment and textbooks for Sugapa 1 Public High School students.

Mr Andarias Tandipayung, Principal of the High School appreciated the Task Force’s activity and expressed his gratitude for the assistance provided and hoped that the 330 Task Force would continue to hold other positive activities involving teachers and students of Sugapa 1 High School

“It is truly extraordinary, the efforts of Task Force to provide education about the role of youth to our students. On behalf of the school, I would like to thank you for the assistance provided. May God bless and protect The task Force,” he said.
