Intan Jaya, IDNtribune – During the One Million Tree Movement Day, which was celebrated every January 10, the 330 Task Force Tri Dharma planted Mahogany Trees in the District of Intan Jaya in the Central Papua Province on Wednesday (10/1/24).

Infantery First Lieutenant Zaenal Muqorib, as the Bilogai Post Commander explained that the planting of Mahogany trees was carried out at several points in the mountainous areas in the region of Intan Jaya

“The 330 Task Force personnel from the Bilogai Post planted Mahogany tree to commemorate the anniversary of the one million tree movement. This is one of the efforts made by the Task Force to preserve the environment and save forests,” he said.

In a separate place, Commander of the 330/Tri Dharma Task Force, Infantery Major Dedy Pungky Irawanto, S.I.P., M.I.Pol emphasized that the Mahogany trees planted by the 330 Task Force may provide many benefits for life such as maintaining the balance of the ecosystem, becoming a habitat for animals wild, providing shade and fresh air for humans in the future.

“Let us altogether enthusiastically start planting trees in the hope of creating a better environment for us and future generations,” he stressed.

Nature is a great blessing from God Almighty for mankind and it is a collective obligation to preserve nature.
