Intan Jaya, IDNtribune – The silent afternoon atmosphere on Tuesday (24/10/23) quickly broke in the Mamba Post when two Papuan Mothers were seen rushing towards the post shouting

Two soldiers on guard rushed over to the two of them. “Mama, what’s wrong? Why is there so much blood on your T-shirt?”, Private First Class Erik asked.

Wetina Tabuni, the name of the Papuan mother who was seen wearing blood stained T-shirt then answered. “Sir, please help me, my head is bleeding, I fell on a wooden block,” she said while showing the wound on his head which was continuing to ooze blood.

Private First Class Erik then invited the two mothers to sit down. “Wait a moment, I’ll call the doctor first,” he said.

A few moments later, Medical Lieutenant Dr. Yoga Sembiring, the Task Force Doctor, assisted by Sargeant Ojang, arrived and immediately provided first aid to Mama Tabuni. “Mama, let’s clean the wound first before we treat it,” said the doctor.

After the treatment was complete, the Task Force Doctor gave medicine for Mama Tabuni to drink. “Mama, there are 2 medicines, take them 3 times a day until they run out,” he explained.

Commander of the Task Force, Infantery Major Dedy Pungky Irawanto, S.I.P., M.I.Pol. commanded that all 330 personnel are always ready anytime and anywhere to help the community’s difficulties. “The 330 Task Force is always ready to be present as a solution to help the community,” he said.

Mama Wetina Tabuni expressed her gratitude for the help provided by The Task Force. “Thank you for helping treat the wound on my head. May God always bless you,” she said
