Intan Jaya, IDNtribune – The acts of Terror done by the Papuan Separatists (KSTP) have brought misery to the people of Intan Jaya. Many Papuan mothers cannot carry out their activities on market days, as their inventory of produce that should’ve been for sale are confiscated by the seperatists. As a result, the people are in danger of starvation as they have no income to buy food.

Not staying silent. After observing the difficulties faced by the community and the activities that has ceased to continue, the 330 Tri Dharma Task Force distributed packaged rice to the community passing in front of the Mamba Post, Intan Jaya regency, Central Papua Province, on Tuesday (30/1/24).

Infantry First Lieutenant Rudi Hendrawan, the task force logistics officer, explained that Task Force’s packaged rice distribution aims to help the community.

“The unstable security conditions in Intan Jaya are causing the economy to turn slowly. The 330 Task Force 330 tries to ease the burden on the community by distributing packaged rice,” he said.

Furthermore, Bang Kohenk (Lieutenant Rudi’s nickname), added that the Task Force together with other security forces will continue to collaborate to assist the Intan Jaya district government in accelerating the restoration of security conduciveness in Intan Jaya.

“All elements will work hard to create a safe Intan Jaya in order to welcome the national election year which is in sight,” he stressed.
