Intan Jaya, IDNtribune.com – In order further improve the standard of living for the people in Intan Jaya, personnel of the 330/Tri Dharma Raider Infantery Batalyon Task Force built and inaugurated Cleaning and Sanitation facilities in support for the TNI Manunggal Air Program. Located in Mamba Village, Intan Jaya, Central Papua Province, on Wednesday (11/10/23).

In his speech, Commander of the 330/TD Batalyon, Infantery Major Dedy Pungky Irawanto, S.I.P., M.I.Pol explained that the construction of this facility was part of the Armed Forces’ Program on Water.

“Water is a source of life. The water already processed by the Army is a source of raw water that can be drunk and can be used by the locals of the Mamba Village. There are greetings from the Army Chief of Staff and the Commander of the Army Strategic Reserve for the people in Intan Jaya. At the same time, he expressed his joy for the people who now may enjoy clean water and the newly built facilities,” he said.

On that occasion, leader of the Tanah Putih community, Feri Sani expressed his thanks to the Army Chief of Staff, Commander of the Strategic Reserve and the Commander of the 330 Batalyon who paid attention to the community through the Manunggal Water program by building cleaning and sanitation facilities and several toilet.

“Thank you to the Army Chief of Staff, Strategic Reserve Commander and Sonobi Sejuria (the nickname given by Intan Jaya residents to 330 Batalyon Commander) who continue to pay attention to us, the people of Intan Jaya. “We still need a lot more help, don’t get bored if we come asking,” explained Feri.

Furthermore, Feri Sani hopes that apart from all the facilities built in 5 locations, if possible, more can be added.

“I hope that Mr. Sonobi Sejuria will forward our request to the Strategic Reserve Commander of the Army Chief of Staff, if possible, add an additional toilet for the Tanah Putih church,” he said hopefully. ***
