Nduga, IDNtribune.com – In celebration of the 78th Anniversary of the Indonesian Armed Forces, the 411 Infantery Batalyon Task Force held a community event distributing 1,200 packages of nutritional and educational care packages for Papuan children at the Kotis Post, Keneyam District, Nduga Regency, Papuan Highlands Province, Friday (13/10/2023).

Exactly in the morning at 08.00 AM, 600 students from Inpres Keneyam Elementary school and Combined District Elementary School of the Nduga Regency came accompanied by a board of teachers and crowded the front yard of the Kotis Ksatria Pandawa Post.

In this event, the “prevent stunting” Nutrition Care event was carried out by distributing packages containing eggs, milk, green bean juice, bread and worm medicine, while the education care packages were school bags, I’m a smart kid t-shirt and an array of school stationery. A total package of 1,200 packages were distributed.

The community service program was aimed as a gift for the Papuan children who are in areas prone to conflict and disturbance by the Papuan Separatist Terrorist Group (KSTP), as a concrete manifestation of the armed forces’ concern, in this case the 411 Task force which has been on duty for 4 months in the area.

In his speech, Infantery Lt. Col. Subandi, also known as Bang Alex said that today’s nutrition care and education care activities were carried out by the 411 Batalyon Task Force in celebration of the Armed Forces’ 78th Anniversary. This activity shows our concern for nutrition to prevent stunting and care for education. As only education can save our future.

“Hopefully, our younger peers are happy, the package is useful for additional nutrition for the younger siblings, the school supplies can be used, there are bags, there are t-shirts, books and stationery, everything is for our younger siblings, we love the young children. Everyone must be enthusiastic in order to achieve your goals,” said Bang Alex.

The 2004 Military Academy Alumni continued, currently the people in the Keneyam District, Nduga Regency are getting closer to the Armed forces. There is no distance, every day they greet each other, every day they communicate and have good closeness, the presence of the 411 Infantery Batalyon Task Force must have a positive impact in helping the community’s difficulties. General Dudung Abdurachman when he visited the 411 Infantery Batalyon in the Mount Lawu training area before the batalyon left to be sent on duty to Nduga Regency.

Not only that, the Army Chief of Staff’s daily orders also always serve as our guide in every step in the area of ​​duty, “take actions that have an impact on the welfare of the people, in order to be able to foster people’s love and affection for the Indonesian Army,” concluded Bang Alex.

Today’s event is also a form of collaboration between the 411 Task Force, Nduga Regency Government, 1706/Nduga District Command, the local Police Force and all elements of the task Force in Keneyam District, Nduga Regency and colleagues from the Karunia Merah Putih Foundation, apart from jointly maintaining regional security stability, they also together in creating a healthy and intelligent young generation.

Meanwhile, the Chair of the GPDI Jerikho Session, Nduga Regency, Rev. Isak Murib, S. Pdk., who was also present to lead the prayer, also expressed his thanks to the Task Force.
