Orphan Showed Happy Face when the 330 Task Force Made His Dream of Going to School Come True
Intan Jaya, IDNtribune.com – Sony Sondegau, one of the many children living in Intan Jaya, is one of many whom are less fortunate. At the age of 6 years, he is already an orphan. Every day, he spends time playing, studying or just asking for food from members of the 330/Tri Dharma Raider Infantery Batalyon Task Force at the J2 Post
Sony is a talented individual. When studying with the 330 personnel, he showed strong determination to study. Infantery Major Riska Imron Rosadi, vice commander, said that Sony has high motivation to learn. “Once when asked what his goals and dreams were, he answered that he wanted to go to school,” he said.
Seeing the talent and potential that Sony has. Major Riska reported this to the 330/Tri Dharma commander.
Without thinking, Infantery Major Dedy Pungky Irawanto, S.I.P., M.I.Pol ordered to immediately register Sony at the nearest school, namely SD YPPK Bilogai. “Complete the administrative requirements, then we will register Sony for school. Prepare the uniform, bag and stationery,” he said.
The principal of YPPK Bilogai Elementary School, Mr. Stevanus Sondegau, appreciated the concern of the 330 Task Force. “The care is truly extraordinary from the 330 personnel. Little Sony can now go to school. Thank you, may God always bless you,” he said.
“Thank you 330, now Sony can go to school. I will study hard, so that later I can become a soldier,” said Sony happily. ***
