IDNtribune.com – Commissioner General Dr. H. Mohammad Fadil Imran, M.Si, Head of the Indonesian National Police’s Security Maintenance Agency (Kabaharkam), embarked on a series of official visits to vital national objects in Kuta Mandalika, Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara from July 22-24, 2024.

Accompanied by Inspector General Hary Sudwijanto, S.I.K., M.Si, Chief of the Sabhara Corps, and several officers from the NTB Regional Police and Central Lombok Police, Commissioner General Fadil Imran visited several key sites in and around Kuta Mandalika.

The first stop was the Special Economic Zone (KEK) managed by the Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) in Mandalika, the venue for the MotoGP and World Super Bike events, along with various other tourist destinations. The international MotoGP Mandalika event is set to take place at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit from September 27-29, 2024.

Inspector General Hary Sudwijanto emphasized the importance of maintaining security at several tourist destinations in Lombok, identifying them as critical points.

“The visit by the Kabaharkam of the Indonesian National Police is to conduct a security assessment of national vital objects in Lombok, especially with the upcoming MotoGP in Mandalika in September,” he stated.

After visiting ITDC Mandalika, Commissioner General Fadil Imran and his entourage proceeded to SkyLancing in Mekarsari, West Praya, Central Lombok. Here, the police chief experienced tandem paragliding with a professional pilot.

“I’ve just had a tandem paragliding flight at SkyLancing. It’s safe, comfortable, and beautiful,” said Commissioner General Fadil Imran.

He expressed his enjoyment of the scenic beauty of Lombok from above during the paragliding experience.

According to the schedule, Commissioner General Fadil Imran and his entourage will return to Jakarta on the afternoon of Wednesday, July 24, 2024. ***
